Oh, wow. Cornwall is having a community meeting to talk about education at the high school and elementary school. What a good idea! Why didn’t I think of that? Oh, wait! I DID think of that. I held the first community meeting on Jan. 6, 2010, a few weeks after the release of the Pingpank Report and have held several each year since then. It’s been wonderful — everyone at the community meetings feels free to talk and by the end of the meeting there is a consensus on which direction they would like their representative to take — yes, let’s hear it for participatory democracy!
