Simple facts about the Region One budget workshop on the evening of September 4th.

Both the Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent were absent..

No representative from Salisbury (simply the town with the most weighted votes in the region) came again (2nd time in the last two budget workshops)..

NO, we repeat NO action taken by the Board Of Education (just the implementation of  $18.942.00 of additional cuts from the business manager) of which $37,337.000 came from the reduction of finance charges(see attached memo)

So, once again, after SIX (6) votes, the board sends back the same budget as last time, except…with the full new 3 year additional contract again added back for the Superintendent.

Please watch this video, please send this video to your friends and neighbors. This meeting, number 6 on this budget is a sad and sorry example of a board not only out of touch with the public, but with themselves. It is stunning testimony as to why this budget must be defeated once again.
